Minutes of Meeting
December 1, 2022
The regular bi-monthly meeting of the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Human Rights Commission, held on 12/1/22, was called to order at 6:35 pm by Commission Chairperson Tim Middleton.
Commission members present: Cindy Batts, Tim Middleton, Cierra Spalding, Wendall Shipp (new member appointed for the county recently), and Joann Muir
Commission members absent: Kyle Fannin, Chris Wright, Elizabeth Turley, and Jorge Espinoza
Comments/Questions from members of the public: None
There was not a quorum, so we did not vote on the minutes or the treasurers report
OLD BUSINESS:
No word on the Google phone and it is still not working.
Still working on getting banners to celebrate black history month for downtown Versailles.
NEW BUSINESS:
Will vote on a new Vice President and possibly a new treasurer, though it is unsure if Kyle Fannin comes off the commission this year or next at this time.
Will introduce new members at next meeting.
Will talk about money for gift cards for those leaving the commission at next meeting and vote on this.
May decide to have April’s meeting in Midway.
NEXT MEETING: Thursday February 2 at 6:30 pm at the MUST building
